Architect, urban/rural designer and serial enterpreneur

Architect, Codesigner and Social Entrepreneur. Andrea is the cofounder of this social enterprise.
Born in Biella (northern Italy) - graduated at the Politecnico di Milano, he studied in Australia and Chile. He is based now in Matera (southern Italy) as a ‘stranger’ to the region, his fresh approach was pivotal to respond the needs of places and people living in Basilicata. Observe, listen, imagine and prototype are the keys to his effective problem solving method.
After working for prestigious Architecture Studios nationally and internationally, Andrea was local Responsible for Impact Hub involving people in order to create positive changes and now design spaces for change, generating and activating communities.
As Social Entrepreneur, he created multiple entreprises including Netural Coop and Matera design Weekend. He was project manager of Mammamiaaa, official project of Matera - European Capital of Culture 2019.
He has lectured in many events and he was the Keynote Speaker for the UNESCO City of Design Meeting 2020 about social design on “The relational age – Design to connect things, people and places.” He researches and writes on issues of living, co-design, social innovation, community building, co-creation, urban and rural village regeneration.
